    How to run .exe file in kubuntu 11.10

    Hi friends.

    Is there anyway to run .exe file extension type in linux other than WINE which is said to be not doing favour for all sorts of .exe ?
    Awaiting for a reply & solution . Thanx in advance

      Or go the extreme way by installing a flavour of Windows inside a Virtual Machine.

        While I dont think its a KDE application, Playonlinux will help you install and configure a lot of Windows applications, and it installs easily. http://www.playonlinux.com/en But I also recommend you try and find a Linux application that does what the Windows app does. As an example, lots of new users try and run applications like utorrent when there are a lot of torrent clients available.

            Yes, but it has a lot of nice configuration features, including installing each application in its own wine prefix so you can use the best wine version for the specific application.
