    [RESOLVED]Why can't I connect?

    Help All

I am staying the week with family. All the Windoze machines can connect, but my Linux laptop won't. I have even tried entering all the parms manually and I still cannot connect to the internet. Anyone have any ideas why?
    Thanks,

    Craigbert

How are you connecting - by ethernet cable or wirelessly?

It's an old trick but usually it works, hook up via ethernet, install the WICD-KDE package plus dependencies and remove networkmanager.
Now try to get a WIFI connection using WICD.
