SOLVED: Upgrade to Lucid replaces Kubuntu Splash with Ubuntu Splash

    Hi there
Tried searching but couldn't find a similar thread...if one was already posted sorry for raising again
Delighted to say I had a flawless 8hr upgrade to Lucid and it looks and works great
One minor cosmetic issue..when I boot and close down, instead of the nice blue kubuntu logo on a dark background, I now have a nice Ubuntu 10.04 logo on a purple background!!
I'm sure it's easy to fix..grateful if you could point me in the right direction!
    Thanks
    Raaj

    sudo apt-get install plymouth-theme-kubuntu-logo

Not sure why it wouldn't install by default.
Man by his very nature is dependent on other men.

        probably because either:
        1. kubuntu-desktop package was not installed when upgrading to lucid
        or:
        2. apt configuration changed to not treat recommends as dependencies (by default recommends are treated as dependencies)
