Kubuntu 5.10 installs fine but when it goes to start up i get a heather gray screen and no interface. Mouse moves, but I can't do anything but do just that. Does anyone know why the graphic interface/login is not showing up?

Kubuntu 5.10 install problem
seems like some problem in your X configuration. Press Alt+Ctrl+F1 when you get that heather gray screen, this will lend you into the shell login prompt. login using your username and password. then issueFollow this wizard. Once you finish seting up your X system. issueCode:sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
.Code:sudo /etc/init.d/kdm restart
ps:If you using a Nvidia card, disable the kernel framebuffer supportcheers!
