    rkhunter check

I'm using gufw and rkhunter on kubuntu 9.10 and when I start scanning with rkhunter after the scan is finished it reports on /dev suspicious files, hidden files and directories and when checking version of Exim MTA, GnuPG, OpenSSL it says warning. After scan I check the rkhunter log and its empty. Is this a serious problem and should I be worried? Please help. The version of rkhunter is 1.3.4 and of gufw 9.10.4

    Re: rkhunter check

read this first an see if anything in there is relevant to your situation, though I doubt you actually have anything wrong. I believe rkhunter is known to give gobs of warnings which can seem bad at first, but they aren't necessarily alarms

if unsure, check out rkhunter's mailing list
