Problem with wireless everytime i restart kubuntu. (solved)

I downloaded the driver for wireless from Broadcom site. and followed the instruction given by them.
Driver was successfully loaded for 802.11.
I am using KNetwork manager (default one after installing 9.10). and i can see my wireless router after scanning.

There is an issues with working of wireless though.

I have to copy wl.ko file everytime i restart my computer and then only it can search for the wireless router.

Please suggest some solution for this.

I do not know if this will help. It may be tat the driver didn't install correctly. The way I installed the Broadcom driver was under K-Applications-Hardware Driver. It found the broadcom sta driver and I installed it from there.
See if you can remove the driver and re-install from the Hardware Driver app.

I was having the same problem. I jacked into a wired network, uninstalled Knetworkmanager and installed Wicd instead. Knetworkmanager is better than it was in Jaunty, but it still needs work, IMO.

i just disabled the KDE wallet (which was asking me permission everytime i restart the kubuntu.) and the problem was sorted.
after that.. i just had to type the password once. and now it is working on startup.
