    Cannot open any files with Karbon

    I installed karbon-kde4 in Kubuntu 9.10 but I cannot open any files. I started Karbon in the terminal and I got an error saying pstoedit wasn't found. So I installed pstoedit but now I get a different popup error message "Could not open /path/to/file Reason: Parsing error."

    The last few lines when I open it from the terminal are:

    Code:
    OpenCTL (Debug): in Compiler.cpp at 185 in OpenCTL::Compiler::compile: Clean up
    OpenCTL (Debug): in Compiler.cpp at 202 in OpenCTL::Compiler::compile: Compilation finished
    GTLCore (Debug): in ModuleData_p.cpp at 139 in GTLCore::ModuleData::doLink: Linking error:
    GTLCore (Debug): in ModuleData_p.cpp at 139 in GTLCore::ModuleData::doLink: Linking error:
    GTLCore (Debug): in Optimiser_p.cpp at 100 in GTLCore::Optimiser::Private::passManager: Finished pass manager
    pstoedit: version 3.45 / DLL interface 108 (build Sep 6 2009 - release build - g++ 4.4.1) : Copyright (C) 1993 - 2007 Wolfgang Glunz
    Does that make sense to anyone?

    Re: Cannot open any files with Karbon

    Sorry for the delayed response. As I'm sure you've found out by now, Karbon 1.6.3 is the "official" version for Karmic. Karbon-KDE4 is a "use at your own risk" type package.
