Unfortunately, that thread, while it started with a question about gfxboot, was misinterpreted, and so, had answers that had nothing to do with gfxboot.

But, your point is spot-on -- search before posting. KFN is just FULL of answers and replies on nearly everything Kubuntu you can think of. I wish all new users would read the two identified links in the Welcome on the main page. :P
