Need Kodak ESP 7 printer driver for kubuntu!

Hey, so I'm gonna replace windows for kubuntu but i need the driver for a Kodak ESP 7 All in One Printer.
Where can I get it for Kubuntu?

P.S. Is there a generic driver just as good? If so where do I get it?

Do yourself a favor. Download the .iso file of the version of Kubuntu you want to use, burn it to CD (creating a LiveCD), and boot from it. Test everything out. Your printer may 'just work' with the default CUPS system. If it does, while running from the LiveCD, you will have the same support when you install Kubuntu.

The printer didn't work when I tried it when using the live cd.

From what I've found by Googling, Kodak has no linux drivers for their All-in-One printers.

Take a look at the OpenPrinting/Database/DatabaseIntro I didn't see an entry for the 440CN.
