    Disabling the trash...

    Is that possible? Cause, i can of course use "Delete" option but i want to disable "Move to trash" so that i don't forget about that i have to press shift+del instead of del

    Sadly, I don't think that's possible. I've been looking for that for quite a while.

      If you use Krusader instead of Dolphin, there is this default.
      Kubuntu 16.04 on two computers and Kubuntu 17.04 on DELL Latitude 13

        Reassign the "Delete"-key:

        Dolphin > Settings > Configure Shortcuts > Delete ...




        Adding a "Delete" context menu > Removing without Shift + Delete

        Before you edit, BACKUP !

          Even if you could, this is not wise.
          Eventually this will lead to tears.

          Better to schedule a trash clear every few days.

            You do realize that on Windows i could (and infact it was so) never ever use the trash? It just... I follow a simple way, if i delete a file, it means i don't NEED it.
