Help to find proper sound/video drivers for Asus A6RP laptop.

So i have a little problem, and i'm not sure whether that's Wine or... The thing is that windows apps i run tell me that they can't load their sound files. So, what is the problem? I think problems are the sound drivers. Am i right?

Not necessarily, do you have proper sound when running native Linux applications?
