I log in, and my screen goes black. I see the mouse, skype pops up. And I see some notifications. But I cant do anything else.

Also, no sound when booting up. No idea why.

maybe some buggy plasmoid is causing it

press alt+shift+f12 to turn off composite and see if something changes (do that againt to make a plasma restart with composite )

Nothing changes.

A reboot made skype load up and the wallpaper load up. I managed to use help through skype and get firefox open. Nothing else loads up. Not even the task manager.

rm -r ~/.kde fixed the issue.
