Re: setting homepage for google
Konqueror displays about:konqueror when you first open it, and is configured to use your /home/username directory as your home page. If you want the home icon to bring up the introductory page, follow these steps:Originally posted by ahurdWhen I start kong I get google which I think I set as browser homepage. However, when I click on homepage icon up pops my home file directory. What is going on. Any help appreciated.
- Open the Settings menu.
- Choose Configure Konqueror...
- Choose Behavior
- Delete the path in the box next to Home URL:
- Type about:konqueror in the box.
- Left-click the Apply button.
- Left-click the OK button.
Enjoy.
