Re: Can't upgrade to Amarok 2.0
Indeed I failed to get Amarok2 as well --- I did & got the following:
Code:delbert@fskidd:~$ sudo apt-get install amarok-kde4 sudo: unable to resolve host fskidd [sudo] password for delbert: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Couldn't find package amarok-kde4

Re: Can't upgrade to Amarok 2.0
I think you copied something wrong and messed up your /etc/apt/sources.list . Try to open it with a text editor (kdesudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list) and make sure the lines you added through adept to upgrade amarok start with deb or deb-src, or find any other way these new lines differ from the old ones.Originally posted by x-dogi tried to upgrade it an now adept installer wont open it say signal 6 SIGBRT any idea how to fix it any one please
