Synchronize files between two Kubuntu computers

    Hi!

I really need an application to sync files between my laptop and PC. Before I used Dropbox, but it is only ment to be used with gnome desktop. KDE 4 is so cool that I decided to abandone Gnome. So is there any good synchronization software out there I could use?

    Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't know Dropbox and not sure whether Unison would serve your needs.

How do you propose to transfer updated files? Via network or "solid" medium? Also, which files/directories are affected?

If you are using NFS you can force synchronization by using the sync option. See man nfs.
