I am new to kubuntu, it is my main and only o.s. (i switched from ubuntu) and i was wondering if an external hard drive (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1203815241551) that one. would work? I have kubuntu 8.04 by the way

Don't see why it wouldn't. It's USB 2.0. If you don't have USB 2.0 ports, you won't get the throughput speed.Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Yea i'm pretty sure it will work now, i've had a rough day o.s. wise. I installed fedora but the internet was super slow then i got openSUSE and the internet sucked on that and now i'm back to kubuntu 8.04 and i'm going to stay with it. thats why i asked about the external i wanted to know if i should keep kubuntuComment
