website or mirrors where i can download all software of ubuntu

    hello,
I don't know if anyona has already said it but I live in Africa (Madagascar island) where there is no internet connection at home.
but I use public computer (cybercafe) to download linux softwares.
So, I'd like to know where to download everything I want for kubuntu.
I cannot use apt get or something like repositories, cvs and elses because it requires an internet connection directly from my computer.
IS ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME?
AND CAN I DOWNLOAD EACH SOFTWARE WHERE ALL DEPENDENCIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE SAME FILE PLEASE?
I'M SURE IT WAS AN ISSUE FOR THIS BUT I DON' T FIND IT ANYWHERE IN GOOGLE OR ANYTHING ELSE.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CYBERCAFE IS NOT A HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION SO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD ONE BY ONE THE FILES I WANT.

THANK YOU FOR ALL TP YOUR HELP.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I CAN USE ONLY HTTP LINKS DUE TO SOME RESTRICTION FOR SECURITY RISK.

    SO PLEASE HELP.

Re: website or mirrors where i can download all software of ubuntu

The only thing i can immagine is to download a whole repository into an HD and then use it as "source" for your installations. i did that with another distro because i had slow download rate and many linux servers. so i made a "local mirror" and all my servers was updating from my local mirror.

Keep in mind that this mean a lot of space and time to download, and you should "rsync" if when u want to update.

Unfortunatly ubuntu is not the best choise if you have this sort of problem. Other distros allows you to download a lot of extra cd/dvd's ( for example Debian ).

I do the apt-get install and save all my DEBs for later use. Could I use DEbs I got on 6.10 in 7.10?

You don't need apt to download files from repositories. The repositories mostly have a http address. Enter it in your browser and try to find what you need.

However to get all dependencies right you should do some research in aptitude first(at home) to see what depends on what and make a list.

That's how I did when I had no internet on Kubuntu two years back

So what would the URL be for lets say: apt-get install wine (I think thats how the command goes, its been a while since I used Linux )
