Screen too big - hides taskbar

OK, this is probably simple and stupid, ...but

MSI Geforce 6200, Mitsubishi 52" rear projection & new install of Kubuntu 7.10.

Screen displays upper half of toolbar, and is slightly larger, all the way around, than the application windows that open.

Changes to resolution don't seem to help. Is there an nVidia utility or something?

    Thanks,

    Dave.

If you are usung Kubuntu gutsy 7.10 and have installed the nVidia restricted driver, load up the nVidia settings control panel within Konsole, like so:

    Code:
    sudo nvidia-settings
Change your resolution there and don't forget to save your settings to your Xorg.conf file with this utility.

Hopefully this should resolve any issues you have

If you are not using the restricted driver follow this route:

K-Menu> System Settings> Advanced tab > restricted (microchip symbol)

Hopefully upon loading that it will show you that there is a driver available, install it then follow the above information.
