    Some Programs Not Launching

Hummm ~ I am not new to installing apps either using terminal, or adapt, but this has me stumped.

I have installed System-Config-Samba [Adept] and TomBoy [Apt-Get]. Both are in their correct places within the K menu, but when you click on their icons, either nothing happens [System-Config-Samba], or the icon happily bounces [TomBoy}. In either case the program does not launch, even after removing and reinstalling.

I have installed other programs and they launch as expected. I have looked at the Edit Item selection for System-Config-Samba, and TomBoy icons and nothing seems to be out of place.

Any idea what the cause may be?

    Thanks ~ Timo

Try running them from the CLI and see if you get any error messages.
