Kubuntu pre-release testing

Hi !

I'd like to test the Hardy Alpha 2 on my old computer, this computer is actually running on Alpha 1, my question is can I go from Alpha 1 to Alpha 2 without losing my data or I need to go back to 7.10 and then go on Alpha 2 ?

Yes, it should (could) work that way. Alphas -> Betas -> RC -> Final.

And the emphasis is on Alpha! Anything is possible with an Alpha stage release, so if you have data you would not like to loose, it is always best to back it up before upgrading. Less of a concern if you have a separate /home partition.
