    How to set up dual-boot

I have 2 hard disks, C and D. I have Windows 98 on C and I want to install kubuntu on D. How do I set it up so i can have a choice of which OS to boot on startup?

Also, how do I install so it won't erase the contents of my D drive?

since you have windows already, you should be able to just put in the kubuntu cd and follow the directions step by step. it will do it all for you.
