removing packages from one repository only

    Hi All,

Perhaps someone will be able to help me out here.
Is there a way of removing all packages installed from specific repository only ?
Thanks a lot in advance for your replies.

not with one simple command...i don't think.
    though...
i use synaptic as a package manager instead of adept.

click on origin on the bottom left.
this allows for packages to be listed based on the repository they come from.
just click on the wanted repository address (e.g.: xx.archive.ubuntu.com/restricted)

then click on the status column to sort packages based on their status.
this groups all the installed packages together.

it's is then pretty easy to select them all for complete removal.

Thanks Jankushka, will give it a try and will experiment with apptitude from work, maybe I can get a similar functionality to the synaptic out of it.

Just curious as to why would you want to do that?
