Kubuntu 7 on Virtual PC 2007

I am trying to install Kubuntu 7.04 on my Virtual PC 2007 for windows. I am not having any luck at all. What happens is When I install I get the splash screen with the Kubuntu logo, but when I install I get a black screen with multi colored lines in the top left and all alnog the bottom.
I have searched the forums and am unsure what to look for. Can anyone help please. >

New problem, I now have installed the Operating system, but when it loads the mouse is not working everytime, do I have to edit the text everytime I load? I need some assistance.
