    Configuring Mouse Buttons

I have recently installed Kubuntu and I am quite new to Linux. I've always been interested but never had the courage to risk my Winblows installation. However, I have gotten very used to the way the buttons on my Logitech MX518 optical mouse work and I have been unable to find a way to reconfigure them in Kubuntu. Basically, it's a 7-button mouse and, the two buttons I'm trying to reconfigure are the two on the side which, in Windows, give me Back and Forward actions in Firefox, Windows Explorer etc. Is there a way to reconfigure these in Kubuntu? Thanks!
