    gedit in Kubuntu

Hi I'm new here. I'm finding lots of information regarding Ubuntu commands but can't seem to come up with Kubuntu equivalents. Namely I'm trying to access xorg to configure my MX1000 logitech mouse but the I don't know what to replace gedit with. I tried using kedit in the command line to use "kate" but i don't get a read-out of the input devices to edit.

If anyone knows the KDE alternative for "sudo nano gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf" I'd greatly appreciate your help.

    Yep. It's "kate".

And in Kubuntu, we use "kdesu" instead of "gksu" to run a GUI package in Super User mode. So, to edit the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf from Kubuntu, either Alt-F2 or open the Kmenu>System>Konsole, and enter
    Code:
    kdesu kate /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Thanks for the quick feedback. The alt F2 option is much smoother. Works like a charm.
