    Video drivers

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to install my video driver (I downloaded it already). I have spent hours looking at other explanations and FAQs and have gotten nowhere. I would really appreciate it! I need my 1440 x 900!

Please post the chip manufacturer and model number (i.e. nVidia GeForce 7600, Ati Radeon x1650) so we can better assist you.

Have you tried to use Envy to install the driver?

This is going to sound really bad, but, uh, I don't know how. I tried the "Install package option, but it says a lot of stuff isn't installed.

It's just complaining about dependencies. Open a Konsole and type:

            Code:
            sudo apt-get install --fix-broken
            This should get the dependencies.
