How do you install the nvidia binary driver on Kubuntu 0704?????

Hi

Total Newbie. Trying to build our first Linux system and want to install the Nvidia driver.

Using help, which redirected to the Ubuntu help just confused me as it refers to options which don't seem present in Kubuntu. Have surfed and cannot find any simple explanation. I cannot believe it can be this hard to install a driver so I am clearly stupid!

you use your package manager (i.e., adept).
you make sure the restricted repositories are enabled.
you update your packages cache.
you select the nvidia driver you need (i.e. either nvidia-glx or nvidia-glx-new) for installation.
you apply.
the description text that comes with those drivers, says you then have to open a konsole and issue:

sudo nvidia-glx-config enable
