    MD5 Checksum for 5.10-kde352+koffice

I tried putting this in the Previous Releases / Install and boot forum and got no replies.

I downloaded the iso file, kubuntu-5.10-kde352+koffice-rc1-i386-1.iso from here: http://kubuntu.org/special-cds.php

However, I can't find any checksum data. Can anyone post a link to any kind of official site that can give me the MD5 checksum?

BTW, I downloaded this file as I wanted a Live Cd experience with Kubuntu. Can you tell me if the 6.06 (Dapper Drake) version boots as a Live CD?
    thanks,
    Dbuntu

      Hey Rog131,
Thanks for the tips. I picked the kubuntu 5.10 because it was the only one I could find that specifically mentioned a Live CD version. The web page said "Kubuntu has built a Live CD of Kubuntu Breezy for i386 PCs with KDE 3.5.2 and KOffice 1.5 RC 1, created on 2006-03-26."

Can you tell me if the Kubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake) iso, for example will produce a Live CD for me to boot from and get into just so I can see how it works? I tried the Ubuntu 6.06 CD and it booted up fine.

I'm trying to get a feel for the difference between the Gnome and KDE desktops before installing.
      thanks for your help,
      Dbuntu

Here's a Brazil link where you can get the Feisty Live CD image:

In my experience, Feisty is a little more compatible with some hardware items, especially the USB devices.
