    php-editor

    Hi there,

I just installed Kubuntu to dual boot with winXP yesterday, I never used Linux before so I'm going to be around here with more questions I think.

Everything is up and running, install went smooth. What I'm missing is a php-editor. Is there a good one for Linux available? Since I'm not using Kubuntu as my main OS (not yet) I don't want a commercial but a free program.

    There are many available.

Quanta Plus is a popular one (and a natural choice for a KDE user), Bluefish is another...also many of the advanced text editors (like kate) are surprisingly powerful

For the Dreamweaver experience (or as close as you'll get to DW...), I'd recommend Quanta Plus
