I killed Centos cause Amarok would not work. recompiled and recompiled now trying Kubuntu have been away since ubuntu 4.0 forgotten most of the things I new any help will be appreciated

My question
do I still have to download LAME to get amarok to work

Are you referring to having Amorak play mp3 files?

I got the sound issues working. The setup saw the sound card as a sound blaster and it should have been a maestro.

I am wondering when the network Wlan (Knetworkmanager) will ever see my cards as it is supposed to
But that is another issue.
