    [Alt][F2] kcmshell keys >> Shortcut Schemes > Global Shortcuts > Panel
    >> Popup Launch Menu > Custom Shortcut == [Win][M] (or whatever ...)

      There is however only one problem. when you try to assign the windows key Linux only reads it as a temp WIN+. Unless I'm not understanding what [M] means this problem makes it impossible to assign just that key.

        [M] means [M] or any other key; [Win] alone is not indented - it's [Win] plus some key.

          Please try K>"System Settings">"Keyboard & Mouse">"Keyboard Shortcuts". I suggest that you read the Help page before trying to change anything. In an almost unprecedented condition, the Help page is actually helpful! What next?
