    Kubuntu and the Keyboard

    Hi,

Is there any way to activate the multimedia keys on my kubuntu PC?

For example sound increase or playing a video or the sleep key to put the pc in standby?

    Many thanks

idk, mine were automatically activated. try your system settings and read some of the help files in your K menu.

          Maybe somebody else can answer?

Afterall , its nice for people who come from windows to see that their function keys on the keyboard work in the better OS named kubuntu

I don't have a multi-media keyboard, but I would sure like to know how to get my right alt key to work. I always have to reach over and use the left one.
