    Tag mp3, root needed? [solved]

I want to tag some of my mp3 songs. My user is listed as the “owner” of those files, so my user can delete them if I want. But to tag those files I need to open the program as root – can you explain why for me, that makes no sense.
Edit; My user was only the owner of the folder, not the files.

Secondly; to open a program as root I open the terminal and type kdesu nameofprogram. The problem is that I dont know “nameofprogram” for the program called “Audio Tag Tool” - how can I find it?

    Thanks for any help

Right click on the app and go into properties. There is a field called 'command' which will tell you the "nameofprogram".
