Do you know how to:

Turn of the popup when you move the mouse over the menu?

Hot to add trash and home icon(In GNOME you can start a program with
gconf-editor).
Edit; found the solution for trash: cp /usr/share/apps/kdesktop/unused/directory.trash ~/Desktop
And for home I just added a incon myself and changed how it looked like.

Ubuntu has a new tool to show disk usage, are there something like that for KDE?

When you start a program there is a dancing graphic under the mouse, how to turn it off.

If I don't want a program to appear in the Kmenu; can I just go to the menu editor and delete it?

Are there a program that let me view pictures, and right click on the picture to be bale to “send to”?(they dont have that in Vista, only xp:-)

Right click on Taskbar->Configure Panel->Appearance->Uncheck Enable icon mouseover effect

digiKam - Select image/s you want to send. On Toolbar select Image->email images

Try kdiskfree, it's in a package called kdf. It will show hard disk usage, and let you mount and umount partitions. It can sit in your system tray too.

No it is not this one, this only turns on/off the little movement when you click on a icon. I want to turn of the “dancing” mini icon when I open programs – its turning me mad:-/ I have looked and looked - so any tip would be greate!

Will try “kdiskfree” now:-)
Edit; Nice one, easy to use, just made an entry in the kmenu. But how to make "it .. sit in your system tray"?

About kdiskfree:

If you installed it from the repos, it should add two icons to the K-Menu. In my system, they are located under System->More Apps. One is called KDiskFree, you already know it.

The other one is the Tray "helper". It's called KwikDisk. It will sit in your tray. If you right-click on it, it will show a quick info about your filesystems. It also lets you mount and umount devices with a single click, and open the "full" KdiskFree.

I used it a lot years ago, before linux automounting became reliable.

I didn't see that “hidden” menu before now – nice I tried the KwikDisk – and I liked that one – gonna stay(session).I must say, KDE impresses me more and more(over wintendo and GNOME), looks so much more pro. Everything that I didn't like with GNOME are “fixed” here. Even OOo looks better!

I have two problems left;
1. I need to shut down the dancing graphic under the mouse when I open thing, it drives me nuts.

2. I can play mp3 files in xmms and vlc but not in amarok(witch is my main player).
Edit; I found a solution for this( /usr/lib/amarok/install-mp3).

It would be great if someone could help me out.

Btw; whats the best “smaller” mp3 player for KDE(I only want amarok for my music collection, but when I open songs from like mail, I want something light to start).

Alt-F2 (run command) and type kcontrol. Then go appearence & themes>launch feedback, there is an option here to change 'bouncing cursor' to 'no busy cursor', I've not tried it but I'm guessing it does what you want.

"Filelight" is a tool to show disk usage, and looks much as the one in Ubuntu.

kmplayer or vlc will play your mp3's and videos from your mail nicely.
