finally got kubuntu to see my keyboard . I have a few questions.
i use Eudora 7 (OK you might hate it but i have been using the prog since 92-93)
i want to find a Linux clone. I am not really concerned windows cannot see my Linux drive. But i sure would like help having Linux get the files off my windows drive . If this is not possible thats keel.
Also need a HTML; editor and a grafix editor.
im not ready to kill winblows yet but surely time will tell .

Linux can see and copy files from your NTFS partition with no problem. It's the other direction that is a challenge.

Just make analogous folders in your /home/starbear folder (Docs, Images, Music, Whatever), and then use Konquerer (or Krusader from the repos) to copy them over from the Win filesystem to your new folders.
