Adept just 'aint workin =)

When I run adept, it runs fine.

I followed the instructions on http://www.linuxloader.com/modules.p...pid=28&page=10

and tried to unlock the universe. (lol)

However, when I click fetch updates, It just stays at "0% waiting for headers" no matter how long I leave it.
I went in #kubuntu, and someone gave me a terminal sudo command to do it, but i got an error saying that It couldnt lock because the function is unavailable... huh? lol

I reverted back to the original sources.list, and the same thing happened

my system is at a standstill until I can get this working >.<

Ok so the problem is I need a different nameserver? Where do I get one from? and what do I ask for? lol

and what exactly is a nameserver anyway?

Open /etc/resolv.conf
Find the 192.168 line
change it to 208.67.222.222
I will let you Google for what a nameserver is
Save and close
Set the file to read only
