OK so got an response from system76 first from one of the Kubuntu people no less that works their "ahoneybun or Aaron" who asked for " full sensors data when the system is under full load?" so I did 2 phoroinx tests and attached the output of the tests and "sensors" before and after tests were ran attached it hear as well ,,,,,,,,,then got this from "james"
    Charles,

Totally normal in this case. The cooling system looks like it's keeping up. You can see what the high and critical temperatures are, and that your system is below them. I don't worry until I see something at that high number.

You can always clean the fans and heat sinks, which will help a touch, but, otherwise, this looks fine.
SO,,,,,,,,I guess this box just runes this hot .

yes a laptop and the fans stay running near full ,,,noisy as heck .

If you haven't done so already, I would contact System76 and ask if temps in that range, and that your fan is continuously running, is 'normal' for your rig, of if it is indicative of something needing attention.

    That IS high, VINNY!
    Here's mine:
    Code:
    1:~$ sensors -f
    acpitz-virtual-0
    Adapter: Virtual device
    temp1: +107.6°F (crit = +215.6°F)

    coretemp-isa-0000
    Adapter: ISA adapter
    Physical id 0: +111.2°F (high = +188.6°F, crit = +221.0°F)
    Core 0: +111.2°F (high = +188.6°F, crit = +221.0°F)
    Core 1: +109.4°F (high = +188.6°F, crit = +221.0°F)
    Core 2: +102.2°F (high = +188.6°F, crit = +221.0°F)
    Core 3: +100.4°F (high = +188.6°F, crit = +221.0°F)
Sort of at idle while I peruse this forum...

Is the thermal paste on your CPU's still good?

Keep in mind, Vinny is running a robust laptop and you a desktop PC. In Vinny's case, he could likely benefit from getting the dust out.

What CPU are you using? My old Q6600 would get that hot, but AFAIK these newer CPUs aren't intended to get that hot. My CPU would start to issue shutdown warnings at 80°/176°. Any chance your sensors aren't configured right? My idle is 17-21° - 63-70°F (water cooling is awesome). My GPU runs hotter because it's on air. My old GPUs were also water cooled but I didn't bother with the expense when I upgraded my to current card. It has "smart" fan control and is rarely noisy.

That's kinda hot isn't it? My CPU is water cooled which explains that difference, but yours seem really high for idle.
