I run a 64 bit machine Compaq + Turion 64 + Kubuntu Horay.
My problem is in compiling applications in general. The packages
I download, when I run configure tool , don't recognize x86_64
and fail. As far as I have known, one should be able to build
32 bit apps , usually without much modification to the source.
Help is appreciated
