Yahoo may not let you use Kontact, or any other onboard e-mail proggy, without paying for the premium service, but it is stepping up useability.
I have always just "attached" in Yahoo like always, but there appeared today a popup that said that I could "drag and drop".

I resized Kmail to less than a third of the screen, went to Dolphin and resized it to about a third of the screen so that when I was IN dolphin part of it overlapped Yahoo mail.
To attach the document, I clicked in Dolphin and dragged the file over to Yahoo mail to the "attach paperclip" and a "blue screen appeared" I released and it just did it.
Did it for two more documents I had to attach.
A small "advancement" bar appears during the process.
Now this may have been there "all along" but I don't remember it.
But, then I don't do much with Yahoo except for throwaway stuff.
