Is anyone using Natty yet to confirm whether this is a bug, or a local issue:
I noticed recently that bold fonts got all big and fuzzy on my Natty Narwhal machine (looks like a hinting/antialiasing issue).
The problem happens only on qt/kde programs, so I suspect it is a qt issue (although I can't really remember whether it happened after the latest qt upgrade), and I'm sure I haven't messed with my font settings (or fontconfig) lately. Affects all bold fonts in all sizes (in qt/kde apps that is).
Not looking for a solution (although I'll certainly accept one
, but I have tried the usual stuff like disabling hinting for bold fonts in fontconfig to no effect), just a confirmation either way should help me dig a little deeper.
EDIT: root and a newly created user are also affected, so it's unlikely the cause is in user specific settings.
