[SOLVED] Blank login screen after installing SDDM theme Kubuntu 18.04.1

Hi everybody.

I just installed an SDDM theme to change the login screen and now I have nothing but a black screen and a mouse cursor when logging out or booting where the login screen should be.

I'm not sure what logs to post or info to give. I can access the terminals with ctrl-alt-f2, etc.

Got it.

Logged in at ctrl-alt-f2 terminal and typed 'startx' that got a desktop, then I changed the sddm screen back to default. Still not 100%. the login screen is not the same as it was after install, but at least I can login.

Had similar problem. Stopped using log-in "theames" beause of it. Should be a test time-out to revert back, like the change-resolution problem reversions.
