[SOLVED] Konqueror no underscores in text preview

Apparently by default the Embedded Extended text editor that is used to preview plain text files, is using a wrong font type. The default font is not showing the undercore_symbol when it is used in a text. Instead it displays a space. I have been trying to discover how to fix this by changing the font, but I could not find a place where it would sort effect in that I would see the underscore instead of the space. Can somebody help me? Or is this not a font issue and should I rather report this as a bug?

This is an Ubuntu 16.04LTS with kde installed through the kubuntu repository.

This had nothing to do with the font type. I discovered that at default font zoom (100%?) the underscores were invisible, but one zoom level higher or lower ( Ctrl + and Ctrl - ) they appeared. Then I ended up playing with the font setting in System Settings > font > anti-aliasing. I found out that the issue was fixed when I enable it and configure Medium or Full Hinting Style.
