I recently upgraded Libre Office to the current version and have two sets of Libre Office icons on the application launcher -- current and a previous version. How can I delete the older set? I tried looking in Synaptic for a version to remove, but didn't see it. Any thoughts? Thanks

Right click on the Kubuntu icon in the bottom left corner (the launcher).
You may also need to click on the option to "unlock widgets".
Find the duplicate entries for Libreoffice, under "Office" and delete one of them.
