[KDE] 14.04 LTS System Freezes When Emerging From Sleep

Hello,

When I select sleep, the system sleeps nicely. When I push the power button to awaken the workstation, the "locked" dialog box appears, I can move my mouse "sometimes" but I cannot interact withe the dialog box at all. I cannot enter text, I cannot select controls, etc.

It happens each time I select "sleep." I would like this functionality.

I have the same issue.

I upgraded today from 12.10 to 14.04 to get Android file transfer support (MTP). Sleep mode by closing laptop lid was working before the upgrade. I noticed also that my auto-login was changed to password required upon booting up.

I'm running a Macbook Pro from 2008. Forgive lack of more detail due to my noob nature.

Regardless of this bug, Kubuntu is amazing.
