Does anybody know which config file...

holds the default time before starting the screensaver? Let me 'splain, I prefer my screensaver (Fireworkx) to start after 15 minutes but occasionally I turn it off while transcoding, etc, what the problem is, when I go to turn it back on, KDE sets the time before starting to 1 minute, why in the world couldn't they do something simple like script it to remember the USER'S choice of time before activation?!

    Maybe ~/.kde/share/config/kscreensaverrc

Ive always had problems with KDE not following power management rules. Ive pretty much just given up on it. My screen never dims, although its set to dim after 10 minutes of inactivity.

      Ah, thanks, I'll try that.

Edit: Ha! Looked in that file, no line for the default delay before activation, hmm.
