    [SOLVED] Amarok: Internet streaming problems

    Hello, everybody!
After I updated my Kubuntu distro to 11.10, I faced a problem when try to play my radio channel streams
    which were playing perfectly before.
When I double-click on the channel in playlist it marked as "Streaming data" (stopping to show track title & channel name) and Amarok switches on the channel listed below the current.

Can anyone tell me how to fix that?

    System properties: Kubuntu 11.10 x86_64, KDE 4.7.4, Amarok 2.4.3

OK, I've managed to fix the issue!
The problem wasn't Amarok itself, it was broken version of gstreamer phonon backend used in newer Kubuntu distro!
All you need to do install phonon-backend-vlc and make it preffered in the Backend list (System Settings - Multimedia - Phonon - Backend - move VLC up)
    After that, you will have:
    - completely working internet streaming
    - FLAC, APE works too (FLAC was buggy on some versions - I thought, it was Amarok, APE didn't work at all)

    What you'll loose:
    - No equalizer
