Any alternative apps designed in KDE for Amarok and Kmail?

    Like the topic says,

Are there any alternate KDE apps for Amarok and KMail?
I am aware of Juk and am currently using Thunderbird, but was wondering
if there are others that I am not aware of.
My preference is for KDE since I do not want to bloat my system with libraries

And how do you make KMail stop using groups in the message pane?

There are dozens of media players and mail applications.

I prefer alsaplayer for mp3s and oggs, exaile for ripping cds, thunderbird for mail, and exfalso for editing mp3 tags. Amarok just seems way too complicated for what I want to do. VLC is another good player.

        Thanx for the replies guys,

Well yes Bangarang seems like a good player, simple and sleek
but I'll wait till its out of beta and available in the repos

        As for the mail alternate,
The last time I checked KMail did not support HTML composing,
and now when I checked seems it does.
But I will check if its up to standards though

But does anyone of you know how to change the background of the composer in KMail ?
and also how to disable the message pane from using groups of "Yesterday, Today. Last Week, ... ?

No worries guys, found the config to disable the grouping...
Now to test the HTML feature of KMail
