Where are you getting II RC1 from, I thought that it was only up to alpha 2?

OK, Alpha 3 then but where is RC1 available? I have installed 4.1 now but went all the way from HH via PPA repositories and several retries. I was thinking of using Intrepid but all the reports said that it was still too buggy.

Okay, Intrepid is in alpha3 / kde4.1 (since yesterday) and up until now pretty stable but still for testing only.
Unless you feel adventurous (like a few here), and have some space you don't need on your HD, I would wait until at least beta.

Yeah, I mis-stated it a bit, sorry. Here's what actually I got:

Which is Intrepid Alpha 3 with KDE 4.1.

However, based on the volume of package updates that have come down since I burned the CD on Monday, it's something else entirely by now! Unhappily, after the last dist-upgrade last night, I rebooted to a flash plus a black screen -- I'm not sure, but it would appear the Nvidia driver and/or KDM took a hit. When I get home tonight, I'm going to boot recovery mode, dist-upgrade, and then cross my fingers and see what I get. Don't you love being a testing user?

apt-cache show libstreamanalyzer0

It should be at least 0.5.11.

Here (with the intrepid), the latest upgrade from the libstreamanalyzer0 0.5.10-1 to the libstreamanalyzer0_0.5.11-1 fixed Dolphin crash problem with the divx/xvid files.
