    Trash Icon on Desktop stays on full

    So I put a trash link on my desktop but the icon stays stuck on full instead of changing to empty when it is empty. Any ideas?

    try this. You need to edit the shortcut, which is essentially a text file, and specify both a 'full' icon and an 'empty' one.
