I am running Kubuntu 7.10 since a few month (coming from Win, so I am relatively new on Linux) and tried KDE 4 when it was released. I used the instructions from http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde-4.0.php and it worked very well.
The next day my automatic adept_updater updated from the new entered repository. Afterwards my strigi search in KDE 3.5 didn't work anymore. I saw that it uninstalled something with the name strigi in it. But I can't remember anymore and I don't know where to look.
Do you habe a hint?
